Suppressor for Daniel Defense DD5 Sandman S or L?

I want to suppress my DD5 SBR, and I’m torn between the Dead Air Sandman-S and the Sandman-L.
I'm leaning toward the KeyMo system so I can swap the can between my DD5 and my AKs. I know the L is longer and theoretically quieter, but is the extra length worth the trade-off in maneuverability on an SBR?

If you’ve suppressed your DD5, what did you go with, and how do you like the performance? I’d like to hear how it handles backpressure and sound before I pull the trigger.

Its the Sandman-S on an SBR for me, no question. The L is a little quieter, sure, but that extra length out front makes the gun feel longer and more nose heavy than youd think, especially on a short barrel. The S keeps things way more balanced and still does a great job with sound

@maxFocus Because you're running the DD5 SBR, I’d highly recommend the Sandman-S.
L is quieter at the muzzle, but it creates significantly more backpressure. On a short-barreled .308 gas gun, that extra backpressure translates to more gas in your face and a much harsher bolt cycle.

The Sandman-S is the perfect size for gassers. it takes the edge off without turning your charging handle into a blowtorch

 I ended up going with a shorter setup for the balance and I've never once looked back. Sure, a longer one might be a bit quieter but when it comes to a practical setup, how it handles is way more important to me.
