DD rifles worth the premium in 2026?”

I’ve owned a few ARs over the years but keep circling back to Daniel Defense. Yeah they’re pricey, but every one I’ve handled just feels great. For those running DD hard (training, classes, high round counts), do you feel the extra cost actually pays off long term? Or are we just buying the name at this point?

You’re paying for durability and consistency. DD rarely quits but plenty of cheaper rifles run just fine too.

DD rifles can be pricey, but they’re reliable. That said, my BCM has been just as dependable at about half the price. You pay for quality control and the name, so whether it’s worth it depends on what you want.

Yeah they’re legit and super reliable but at today’s prices, you’re partly paying for the name unless you snag a good deal.
