best mods for DD5 SBR

I’ve got a DD5 SBR on the way, and I'm just playing the waiting game for the paperwork to clear. I’m curious to hear what you guys think of yours!
what mods have you done so far, and are there any I should definitely stay away from? I already picked up some DD fixed irons for now, but I’m thinking about throwing an LPVO on it down the road. let me know how you’ve got yours dialed in!

Think of the mods later... shoot it, see what you actually want to change. The DD fixed irons are great, and an LPVO makes a lot of sense down the road. Biggest thing i'd skip is adding weight just for the sake of it. Congrats on the purchase

oh, The DD5 SBR is a beast, but my advice is to watch the weight. Since it's a .308 shorty, it gets heavy fast once you add glass. If you go the LPVO route, definitely look for a lightweight mount. I’d stay away from adding too many heavy accessories to the front of the rail, keep it snappy
