do you guys actually like running a vertical grip on your Daniel Defense rifles? I just picked up a DD5 SBR and threw on the DD vertical grip, but I ended up taking it right back off.
it just felt... weird. I’ve never used one before, and since I’m usually a minimalist when it comes to accessories, I’m not sure if I should give it another shot or just stick to the bare rail. what have you guys tried that actually feels natural?

Awesome pick up. I'd say everything needs getting used to, explore and see what works better and best

If it feels weird, don't force it. There’s a reason a people are moving toward AFGs or just a simple hand stop.
On an SBR, a full vertical grip can feel like a boat anchor.

Try a low-profile hand stop, it keeps your hand from sliding toward the muzzle but keeps that slim, natural feel you're looking for. you know, the Magpul M-LOK hand stop is a great $20 experiment
