Daniel Defense PDW threads are satisfying

I was just messing with my DDM4 PDW and noticed how insanely smooth the threads are on the linear compensator. Unscrewing it and putting it back on is just oddly satisfying, it actually inspired me to take the rest of the day off to just appreciate the craftsmanship.

Has anyone else noticed this? It’s a small detail, but it really shows the quality DD puts into their machining. Any thoughts?

I remember feeling the same way the first time I got my hands on one. You kind of expect it to be good but not that smooth. It's funny how those little things can make you just stop for a moment and really take it all in.

The machining quality on that DD stuff is noticeable. Small details on a gun you handle a lot add up to a different feel.
